I installed the SCB-AU-Q5U CarPlay interface in 2012y Audi A4 B8 3G MMI. You can check the compatible interface models for each vehicle on the product page of our homepage. And, we provide instruction manual for interface installation to the buyer. The manual contains diagrams, interface setup methods, and usage methods. For how to disassemble and assemble the car parts, please refer to YouTube, etc.
The CarPlay interface supports either the CarPlay or Android Auto system depending on the iPhone or Android phone, and can be connected wirelessly or wired. Also, smartphone mirroring function is available.
The CarPlay (or Android Auto) system is controlled by an MMI controller.
In addition, voice recognition is possible through the original microphone or an external microphone, and you can use the apps quickly and conveniently through voice recognition.
The carplay sound is connected by Aux IN. The AUX cable is not included in the package, please purchase it separately if necessary.
