2012 BMW M1 CIC iDrive In The INDIWORK Garage.

The carplay main body connects to the original head unit. and all cables included in the package box for installation are plug and play type and are connected to the car without damage to the original wirings. In addition, it can also be restored to its original after installation.
On CIC-based model, the AUX IN and MIC wiring are not connected via the main quadlock cable. So I have to connect them directly separately. For the MIC, an external MIC included in the component must be additionally installed.
Also, it is necessary to mount the USB slot for iPhone connection. In Indiwork, the USB slot is usually placed inside the armrest console for convenience. Connect the iPhone to this USB slot via a lightning cable and the carplay system will launch. and users can switch between carplay screen and the original system mode via the original button. and carplay is controlled via the original iDrive controller. In addition, ‘SIRI’ voice recognition function is supported. The sound of carplay is output through the original speakers after AUX IN connection.
A map(navigator) app, music app, and calls function are provided through the carplay platform. In addition, a smartphone mirror function is provided together.
