22 Feb Androud Box ‘A-LINK’, IW04M Interface(NTG4.5) With 7-Inch Touch Screen For Benz W212 E250
Mercedes Benz New E Class W212 E250 In The INDIWORK Garage.
Androud Box ‘A-LINK’ Settop Box Installed
(Enable AUX via engineering mode)
Devices Used :
– A-LINK (Android Settop Box)
– IW04M (For Mercedes Benz NTG 4.5 / HD-LINK Digital Multi Interface)
– 7-inch Capacitive touch screen panel
– Enable AUX via engineering mode
– GPS FAKRA Cable
The A-Link Android set-top box and interface are connected to the car’s head unit. Remove audio deck for installation of devices.
The monitor of the E250 is 7 inches. We use capacitive touch panels to efficiently use the Android settop.
The microphone of A-LINK is installed inside by removing the interior light part. This allows the microphone to be completely hidden.
I enabled the AUX menu which was hidden in engineering mode of car. Also, I connected the audio wiring for the A-LINK’s media output.
Since the Android system is installed in the car, you can use Android independently of your smartphone. Download the application from Google Store and use it freely.
In the case of Mercedes-Benz, with the A-Link and HD-LINK interfaces installed, you can execute the Easy Access function for Driver’s seat. (Automatically move the driver’s seat when getting on and off.)
Because we use the GPS FAKRA cable, the GPS signal is sent to the car’s original antenna. Therefore, the reception sensitivity of GPS is very good.
